Outdoor Patio Ideas

When it comes to springtime, it’s a great time to look at outdoor patio ideas. You can easily spruce up your space without breaking the bank.

Create an oasis that you will love spending time in with friends and family. All you need is a few signature pieces or maybe it’s time to do an entire makeover.

Start with your Big pieces

Based upon your needs and space, determine what types of pieces you want to have. Do you love to eat outside or do you also want a couch and chairs to sit and chat with friends?

Grab your ruler and a partner and map out your space. I love using painters tape to map things out. It can easily be pulled up.

We do have a free backyard organizer checklist. Download it to make the process easier.

Spruce up your Accessories

Sometimes we have all the furniture we need or simply are on a budget. Grabbing a few items on your next Walmart trip or pickup can definitely spruce up your backyard.

You can add a planter and create a small garden or add planters to add some color. What about adding new pillows or cusions? All of these can easily be done and creates a huge impact.

Create Outdoor Eating Space

Invite friends over and enjoy some BBQ or hotdogs for the kids. We love a flat grill because you can easily make breakst, lunch or dinner with it.

People coming in and out for drinks can easily be fixed with a cooler that becomes a staple in your backyard. I think this is a must when it comes to outdoor patio ideas.

Create a Conversational Area

A dining table is great for outdoor entertaining but it’s also great to add some comfy chairs and couches to your outdoor space. If you already have the chairs, make sure and check to see if you have enough side tables.

You can also get a great fire pit or water feature that allows everyone to relax. It’s so much fun to make S’mores as a dessert. Both kids and adults love them.
